Experience the Indigenous History we’re rarely taught

April 7

On April 7, 2018 Ursuline sisters, Companions and friends arrived in our gathering space, the kiva to experience the KAIROS Blanket Exercise which is an experiential teaching tool to share the historical and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. The floor was covered with bright blankets which adjoined one another to fill the central space.  We were invited to remove our shoes and plant ourselves on the land as Indigenous people.  Soon…

Villa Angela and Ursuline College supporting each other

VILLA ANGELA and URSULINE COLLEGE SUPPORTING EACH OTHER On April 19th afternoon the kiva at Villa Angela will filled with over one hundred students from Ursuline College Chatham and staff members who joined the Sisters for a time of sharing and mutual support. “Water Docs” on Friday, November 16th

November 16 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

"Water Docs" on Friday, November 16th The public is invited to the second Water Documentary Film Festival in Chatham. Two films will be shown at 7:00 p.m. November 16 and two the following evening, November 17. Viewing will take place at Villa Angela, Ursuline Sisters, 20 Merici Way, Chatham. Doors will open to the public at 6:30 pm each evening. Admission is free. Donations to support the work of Ecologos are appreciated. All are Welcome
